Approach

A session here is a conversation rather than a production. We work through the shoot together at the screen, so you can see what is happening as it happens and say when something is not right. Nobody leaves the studio wondering what they are going to get.

Most of the work is headshots: actors building a Spotlight profile, drama students applying to schools, and junior performers being seen for the first time. Alongside that sit business and team portraits, musicians and singers, model portfolios, and portraits of writers and creatives made for features and jackets.

The studio is on New England Road in central Brighton, with good daylight and room to move. Location work runs across Sussex and up to London, and commissioned portraits have been published in magazines and the national press.
